Description: This article by Ms. Ndeye Fatou Niang reports on President Macky Sall's visit to Ndiassane in advance of the 133rd gammu, scheduled for December 30, 2015. During the visit, the Senegalese head of state called on the assistance of Khalif General Mame Bou Mamadou Kounta in combatting Islamic radicalism by sensitizing followers to the dangers of terrorism. He also took the opportunity to affirm state support for Ndiassane and for the other major Sufi orders in the country.
