Biography: Hajia Raamatu finished school in the North and joined her father in Kumasi. She wanted to continue school and refused several suitors before marrying her uncle's son. They have been together 36 years and have 5 children. She sells wooden ceiling battens, teaches and attends English classes.

Description: "My uncle saw that I was not interested in marriage, so one day he just called me and said 'I want you to be married to your brother [cousin],' and it worked."
