Dear friends, after thanking God and Prophet Muḥammad -- may peace be upon him -- we are sending you our greetings. May peace and well-being be with you. We want to share with you our religion.

Islam is a revealed religion about which all prophets, from Adam to the Prophet Muḥammad -- may peace be upon them -- have taught. In the Qur'ān, God said: "Muḥammad, I did not send you for anything except to bring compassion to humanity." The Muslim religion has several aspects, one of which is the belief in one God, the sole Creator who deserves to be worshiped.


The Three Holy Books
God is the only creator of everything. We pay homage to Prophet Muḥammad, to his religion, his teachings, and his work. He is the last of the messengers of God. After him, there will be no other religion, and his way completes other ways. We follow his teachings and we love him. The religion has removed us from darkness and ignorance, and brought human beings to light, to knowledge and to what is useful to them. All human beings are God's creatures, including believers and those who do not believe in God. God has sent books and messengers. The Torah, the Bible and the Qur'ān are among the books.


The Qur'ān
The Qur'ān completes other books. The other holy books have lost many aspects for several reasons, among which modifications and additions. God has protected the Qur'ān from these things. The Qur'ān is God's word, and he protects it Himself. The Qur'ān cannot be changed, and no one can modify God's words. He said in the Qur'ān that: "This book, I revealed it and I will look after it." Every Muslim believes in God and must follow his recommendations. God instructs us to look after ourselves, and he will look after the Qur'ān.

God has also created angels. He created them from light, they obey him, follow his instructions and avoid things he forbids. The Muslim who believes in God must also believe in the last Day of Judgment that will come.


The Judgment Day
It is the day when God judges all his creatures in this world. It is the day when God will pay everyone their deeds. Those who did good things will be rewarded, and those who did bad things will also be punished.

We Muslims believe that day will come. That is why we prepare for that day. That day needs to be prepared from this world. If you want to be part of the chosen that day, you must follow God's instructions. You must do good things, say good things, work for the unity of all people, and follow God's recommendations, and you will be rewarded.


What it means to be a Muslim
Dear friends, this is how Islam is. It is a religion of peace, a religion of righteousness, and of goodness. The world was in darkness, and Islam came to bring light to it. God redirected the world. He wants people to follow only his instructions, and not to follow solely their desires. One cannot create an object (idol) and then worship it, something that cannot even do anything even for itself.

Responsibilities of a Muslim
We follow God's recommendations. Anyone who follows his instructions will have nothing but peace in this world and the afterlife. Anyone who does not follow his recommendations will be troubled in this world and the afterlife. Praying is part of our religion. That is the reason why a Muslim must pray. The Muslim must pray the five daily prayers. It is praying that distinguishes the Muslim from the non-Muslim. If you do not pray, then you are not Muslim. A Muslim must pray and follow God's recommendations.

Praying is part of the principles of Islam. Islam, dear friends, is a religion that wants peace in the heart of Muslims. Since its arrival to this day, it calls for unity to build peace.


The Value of Human Life in Islam
Peace is what makes us full human beings. Islam is a religion that loves life and wants people to enjoy it. That is the reason why Islam forbids suicide, because the human being does not own himself/herself to be able to do whatever s/he pleases to do with his/her body. If Islam forbids suicide, it is because it highly regards human life. Islam wants people to live, and wants Muslims to love life. Dear friends, nowadays Islam is misunderstood. Most people only follow their own interpretation.


Understanding Islam
Islam is not as it is depicted. Islam does not teach that. Nowadays, many people do not know Islam and do not study it. Some people do not like Islam because they do not know it. One must not judge someone simply because people say that he is a bad person. If you do that, you are not wise. A wise person would, if s/he is told that a given person is bad, verify to see if the allegations are founded or not. One must not simply hear that a given person is bad and immediately believes it.


Call for a Serious Study of Islam
I call upon all human beings to study Islam seriously. It is the way for them to appreciate the blessings of Islam. They would learn about the advantages of the religion. They will then understand that Islam brings nothing but peace to human beings. The true poor (unlucky) person is the one who lacks peace. Without peace, one cannot be a good believer. One cannot work. One cannot do anything without peace. One cannot even educate (raise) children without peace. This is the reason why Islam reveres peace, and the word "Islam" itself is related to "peace." That is the reason why the word Islam is synonymous to the word "salām" (Peace).

Chers amis, après avoir remercié Dieu et le Prophète Muḥammad, que la paix soit sur lui, nous vous saluons. Que la paix et le bien-être soient avec vous. Nous voulons partager avec vous notre religion.

L'islam est une religion révélée que tous les prophètes depuis Adam jusqu'au Prophète Muḥammad, que la paix soit sur eux, ont enseigné. Dans le Coran Dieu dit : "Toi Muḥammad, je ne t'envoie que par compassion pour l'humanité''. La religion musulmane a plusieurs aspects, parmi lesquels la croyance en l'unicité de Dieu, le seul Créateur qui mérite d'être adoré.


Dieu est le seul créateur de toute chose. Le prophète Muḥammad, nous lui rendons hommage, rendons hommage à sa religion, et rendons hommage à tout ce qu'il a enseigné et son travail. Nous suivons ses enseignements et nous l'aimons. Il est le dernier messager de Dieu. Après lui, il n'y aura aucune autre religion et sa voie complète les autres. La religion nous a sorti des ténèbres et de l'ignorance. L'islam a conduit les hommes à la lumière, à la connaissance, et à ce qui est utile à l'être humain. Tous les êtres humains sont des créatures de Dieu. Les croyants comme ceux qui ne croient pas en Dieu lui appartiennent. Dieu a fait descendre (amener) des livres et a envoyé des prophètes. Parmi ces livres révélés, il y a la Tora, la Bible et le Coran.


Le Coran complète les autres livres. Les autres livres saints ont perdu certains aspects pour plusieurs raisons, parmi lesquelles des modifications et des rajouts. Dieu a protégé le Coran de toutes ces choses. Le Coran est la parole de Dieu qu'il protège lui-même. Le Coran ne peut pas être changé. Personne ne peut transformer la parole de Dieu. Dieu dit dans le Coran: ''Ce livre, je l'ai révélé et je le protège." Chaque musulman qui croit en Dieu doit faire ce qu'il recommande. Dieu nous recommande de veiller sur nous-mêmes et il veillera sur le Coran.

Dieu a aussi crée des anges. Il les a crées de la lumière, et il font tout ce qu'il demande d'eux et évite ce qu'il interdit. Le musulman qui croit en Dieu doit aussi croire au jour du jugement dernier qui viendra.


C'est le jour où Dieu juge ses créatures de ce monde. C'est le jour où Dieu va payer à chacun ses actions. Ceux qui ont fait de bonnes œuvres vont être récompensés et ceux qui ont fait du mal seront à leur tour sanctionnés.

Nous musulmans, nous croyons à l'arrivée de ce jour. C'est pourquoi, nous nous préparons pour ce jour. Ce jour là, il faut le préparer à partir d'ici. Si tu veux faire partie des élus de ce jour, il faut faire ce que Dieu recommande. Tu dois faire du bien, dire de bonnes choses, œuvrer pour l'unité des gens, faire ce que Dieu recommande et tu seras récompensé.


Chers parents (amis), voilà l'islam. C'est une religion de paix, une religion de droiture, de bonté. Le monde était perdu et baignait dans l'obscurité, et l'islam est venu et a amené de la lumière. Dieu a guidé (réorienté) le monde. Il ne veut que les êtres humains suivent ses prescriptions, qu'ils ne suivent pas uniquement leurs désirs. On ne peut pas créer quelque chose et ensuite l'adorer (comme une idole), quelque chose qui ne peut rien faire pour soi-même.

Donc, en tant que musulman, nous croyons que chaque être humain croit en quelque chose. Cependant, nous, nous croyons en Dieu. C'est Dieu que nous adorons [...]


[…] Nous, nous suivons les recommandations de Dieu. Toute personne qui suit ses instructions, n'aura que la paix dans ce monde et dans l'au-delà. Aussi, toute personne qui ne suit pas les recommandations de Dieu sera dans des difficultés dans ce monde et dans l'au-delà. La prière fait partie de notre religion. C'est pourquoi le musulman doit prier. Le musulman doit respecter les cinq prières quotidiennes. La prière distingue le musulman du non musulman. Celui qui ne prie pas n'est pas musulman. Un musulman doit prier et respecter les recommandations de Dieu.

La prière fait partie des principes de l'islam. L'islam, chers parents (amis), est une religion qui veut la paix dans le cœur des musulmans. Depuis son avènement jusqu'à nos jours, il appelle à l'unité pour bâtir la paix.


C'est la paix qui fait de nous des êtres humains à part entière. L'islam est une religion qui aime la vie et veut que les gens s'épanouissent. C'est pourquoi la religion musulmane interdit le suicide, puisque l'homme n'est pas maître de soi-même au point qu'il puisse faire tout ce qu'il veut. Donc, si l'islam interdit le suicide, c'est parce qu'il donne une grande importance à la vie humaine. L'islam veut que l'on vive, et veut aussi que les musulmans aiment la vie. Chers parents (amis), de nos jours l'islam est méconnu. La plupart des gens ne suivent que leur propre interprétation.


L'islam n'est pas comme on le dépeint. L'islam n'enseigne pas cela. De nos jours, il y a des gens qui ne connaissent pas l'islam et ne l'étudient pas. Certains n'aiment pas l'islam parce qu'ils ne le connaissent pas. On ne doit pas juger quelqu'un parce que les gens disent qu'il est mauvais. Si on le fait, on n'est pas sage. Une personne sage, si on lui dit que telle personne n'est pas bonne, il doit vérifier si l'accusation est fondée ou pas. On ne doit pas simplement entendre que telle personne est mauvaise et le croire immédiatement.


J'appelle tous les êtres humains à étudier l'islam réellement. Ils pourront ainsi connaître les bienfaits de l'islam. C'est ainsi qu'ils pourront connaître les avantages de l'islam. Ainsi, on comprendra que l'islam n'amène que la paix aux gens. Le véritable pauvre (malchanceux), c'est celui qui n'a pas de paix. Sans la paix, on ne peut pas être un bon croyant. On ne peut pas travailler. On ne peut rien faire sans la paix. On ne peut même pas éduquer (élever) les enfants sans la paix. C'est pourquoi l'islam vénère la paix et que le mot "islam" lui-même est lié à la 'paix'. C'est pourquoi le mot islam est synonyme de "as-salaam" (La Paix).

Qur'ān noon, fooli denndaa ngal defte. Deya defte noon, ɗi majji sabaabuuji keewɗi. Na jeyaa heen wahlitde haala Allaa ji. Na jeyaa heen ɓeydude ko alaa heen. Qur'ān noon, Alla danndinii duum e denndaa ngal ɗeen ɗoon gede. Qur'ān ko haala Alla mo ngannduɗaa Alla reenii ɗum, ɗuum wahlittaako hay gooto waawataa wahlitɗe haala Alla oo. Alla wi'ii e deftere mum "Min jippinii deftere-am mbiyeteende Qur'ān, ko min Alla reenata ɗum''. Kala juulɗo no goŋɗinii Alla, juulɗo goŋɗinat Alla, ko ɗoon tuŋoto. Allaahu no jogii tagoore mbiyeteende kadi malaykaaji. Ko Alla tagi ɓe ko annoora ɓe ngoofataa Alla, kala ko Alla yamiri ɓe mbadataa, ko Allaahu hadi ɓe. Juulɗo goŋɗindo Alla, goŋdinat kadi ñalngu darngu na woodi. Woni ñalawma [...]

Kon onoon musiɓɓe, islaam nanii. Ko diina mo ngannduɗaa ko diina jam. Ko diina mo ngannduɗaa ko diina peewal, ko diina mo ngannduɗaa ko diina moƴƴere. Aduna ko e majjere won no. Aduna ko e niɓɓe won no, lislaam arii yaltinii yimɓe ɓe e humambinndi, naɓii yimɓe ɓee e annoora. Islaam arii tawii jeyaaɓe Alla ɓee eɓe mbaɗa, ɓe maccuɓe. Alla yaltinii yimɓe ɓee e maccuɓe yaagal. Alla rindinii yimɓe ɓe. Alla yiɗi ko yimɓe ɓe wonu riimɓe, yo ɓe wonu dimo. Dimo mo ngannduɗaa, alaa mo ndewataa si wonaa Alla.
