Biography: Dr. Samwini, Director of Christian-Muslim Relations at the Ghana Christian Council, described himself as a Muslim who converted to Christianity. He was a priest of the Methodist church prior to his assignment at the Ghana Christian Council. He received his doctoral degree from Birmingham University in the UK. His dissertation was published in 2002 under the title The Muslim Resurgence in Ghana Since 1950: Its Effect upon Muslim and Christian Relations (Münster-Hamburg-Berlin and London: Lit Verlag).
Description: The interview focused on the function and structure of the Ghana Christian Council. The larger idea was to discuss the role of the Council in inter-denominational and inter-faith dialogue in the country.
