Biography: She is the eldest of seven children. Her father died early and her mother sold vegetables to feed them and send them to school. They moved to Sunyani, where she finished form four and taught for a while. Then she started going to Lome for cloth to support her mother. Her husband made her stop traveling, then got sick for ten years and died. She is now helping a friend from her Islamic study group at the market, selling slippers.
