Biography: Karim Muhamamed was born in Old Tafo, near Kumasi. He did construction work after form four to save money to apprentice to a well-known master mechanic. He got a bank loan to open his shop, because he didn’t get many customers as a mechanic on his own. He travels to Greece every few months to buy truck engines, about ten to fifteen at a time. He works together with a Christian friend, also a former mechanic, so they can put their money together to travel.
