Prayer for well-being
Father Abonga, arise and receive this flour water that I hold before you.
Children are crying in the house, women are crying in the house, all for good health.
Put your hand on them that they may be healthy.
Being of Agambare clan, I don’t want human flesh,
I don’t want anything belonging to anyone.
If anyone wants anything of mine, you are my father and my ancestor,
you can go to the riverside and speak to the gods so they will know what to do.
This is what I can say. (This is my humble plea.)
