The Farefari language is spoken in the Upper East Region of Ghana. These Farefari materials were collected between 1997 and 2009, to acquire texts for linguistic analysis and to collect a variety of discourse types from a variety of speakers. They include seven interviews, five with women on the kinds of disputes they get into and two with chiefs, one in the traditional area and one in Accra. Finally, there are five tales, which include songs, and a prayer.
